MAKE YOUR IMPACT ON THE UNIVERSE!

My Mission in this endeavor is to help you to start thinking like a winner as quickly in life as possible.  I’m going to share some key ideas that have helped me over the years.  Time is the most valuable commodity on earth, and I’ve wasted a lot of years trying to figure it all out.  Let me save you this time. 

Believe In Yourself

It was 2004 before I really started to understand success and more importantly how to win.  I had finally figured out my unique value as an individual.  I still didn’t know what industry I was going to be in, or how big it was going to be, but I knew it was going to be big.  Yes, that was 17 years into my career.  Well, it took Ray Kroc a few years, and he ended up okay.  Do you know who Ray Kroc is?  You should.  My last seven years have made my hard work and research well worth the efforts.  I started reading success books and really committing myself to being a champion salesman and an even  better sales manager.  The greatest lesson I learned from my research was that if you want to be a champion, you have to model yourself after a champion.

I finally understood that you can learn a lifetime of hard work in a few days by researching the work of a champion and much more importantly, the way they think.

It is my belief that the vast majority of people cannot help but go down the same path that they saw their parents go down.  This is based on narrowly indoctrinated communication skills and views of success.  Children are inevitably and unknowingly guided into the same or similar profession and social strata as their parents.  It takes a different mindset to coach your children to open their minds to expert knowledge.  It also takes a different mindset to control your destiny, instead of letting destiny control you.

I grew up in a middle class family in New Jersey and had to figure it out on my own.  Now I’m in the top 5% of salaries earned in the United States, but much more importantly, I’m happy beyond my wildest dreams.  I’ve enjoyed great success as a salesman, a sales training manager, a district sales manager, and as a person.  I did this because I put in the necessary time researching my chosen profession and continue to drive myself to become better and better every year.  The best part is that I did it ethically and with a high level of character.

Parents can all hopefully teach about Ben Franklin’s experiments with electricity, but do they know why he was chosen to be Ambassador to France?  Why haven’t they encouraged their children to read his biography?  It is mainly because 30 years ago, they were not encouraged by their parents.  He happens to be one of the best thinkers and communicators of all time.  Here’s a great quote from one of our founding fathers.

“A house is not a home unless it contains food and fire for the mind as well as the body.”
